Job description

A 'Good' OFSTED rated mainstream primary school based in Barking are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 PPA teacher to join their team. The role will involve working across KS2 to cover classes, in the teacher's absence.

The school is committed to raising standards and ensuring that all pupils are given a solid grounding for their future by ensuring they develop both academically and socially.

A successful candidate will have:

  • UK school experience
  • QTS
  • A Child workforce DBS on the update service
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A flexible and passionate approach to teaching!

To apply for this role you must have an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check and be registered on to the update service. Candidates that do not have a current DBS will have to apply for one through the agency. This is compulsory and not optional.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
