Outstanding KS2 Intervention Teaching Assistant required for a primary school in Coventry for an immediate start

Teaching Personnel are working with a local primary school in Coventry who are looking for a dedicated Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school prides itself on maintaining a safe and productive environment that rewards pupils for their success, big or small. This well-established school was rated ‘outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted report and was praised for its commitment to raising levels of attainment throughout the academic year.

Your new role

This exciting new opportunity will see you support a small group on children across as KS2 classes, making sure they are supported in their educational development. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to run Literacy and Numeracy Intervention groups across KS2. You should be able to keep track of pupils' progress and report this back to the class teacher. You will be expected to participate in all aspects of school life and ensure pupils have a safe and productive learning environment. You will be working with a supportive team of teaching and support staff who focus on rewarding pupils on their success, whether they be big or small.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role you must have extensive experience of running your own Literacy and Numeracy intervention groups. You should also have experience of working across KS1, KS2 or both. It's important to the school that the successful candidate has excellent references and can work as part of a team easily but then also use their own initiative when working one on one, or in groups with children.

What you'll get in return

You will enjoy a range of benefits including £50 every time you recommend a friend, a specialist and dedicated consultant, excellent rates of pay and flexible hours.
