Junior School in the Blackburn with Darwen area require SEN TA

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

A large junior School in the Blackburn with Darwen area are currently seeking a dedicated and hard working SEN experienced Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis; the role will be to start in two weeks time (2nd October 2017) and last for a minimum of 6 weeks. The SENCO in school works exclusively with Teaching Personnel for all her SEN support staff and has noted that there will be a number of appoints in the second half of the half term as well. The reason for the cover is to support an individual child who struggles to overcome social barriers and with this he displays disruptive behaviours.

The School is currently graded as GOOD by Ofsted. The Head teacher is forward thinking and supportive in his approach to working with his staff. He is keen to upskill; opportunities will arise through INSETs, Twilight training sessions and through Teaching Personnel's CPD Academy. The role will be a good opportunity to get your face into this school on a medium term basis. The school will have plans to appoint further and with a good six weeks working in school there may be every opportunity.

Teaching Personnel work with a range of schools in the Blackburn with Darwen area and are constantly looking to recruit new SEN Teaching Assistants to work with individual children across mainstream primary schools.
