Teaching Assistant/Interventions Specialist
We are working with a Cambridge OFSTED “Good” school who are looking for someone to work as a Teaching Assistant and also do 1:1 and small group intervention work. You will be teaching and supporting KS1 pupils 1:1 and in small groups. Majority of the work will involve literacy interventions, working alongside teachers in mainstream classes, and mentoring individual students.
The role is being put in place in order to provide extra support in the form of intervention/booster sessions to year 1 pupils who are struggling to match the levels of their piers for SATS. You will be working and supporting year 1 and 2 pupils in small groups, 5 days a week on a full time basis and may also be required to cover and support in the class in which the intervention group are part of.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
