Intervention Teacher - North Manchester

Are you a qualified teacher looking for some flexible intervention work? Are you a recent graduate looking to take your first steps in education?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with one of our client schools in North Manchester, who want to employ an Intervention Teacher from February half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to do some flexible work in education whilst assisting students who may be underperforming in some key areas.

  • Flexible working hours to suit your needs (Both full-time and part-time available)
  • Role starts from February 2019
  • Progressive role with potential to move into September
  • Earn up to £70 a day dependant on experience and qualifications
  • Applications welcomed from graduates

Our client school based in the Lees area of Oldham, feature a state of the art building which was opened in 2012, and were rated as 'Good' by Ofsted on their most recent inspection. Our mixed comprehensive secondary academy is noted as being one of the most improved academies in the country in recent years.

This role has been created to support a select few students who have been identified as underperforming in key areas, and so the school would like an Intervention teacher to run sessions with the small group focussing in particular on both English and Maths. The main focus for the school is students that are on the Grade 4/Grade 5 borderline in both of these subjects. This role would be suitable for recent graduates of the core subjects, as well as qualified teachers and individuals that have had experience tutoring.

"If students leave with high quality qualifications that provide them with the academic and vocational currency to further succeed, if they leave with an enhanced character that makes them a great person, if they leave with an appreciation of culture that allows them to enjoy the world in which they live, if they feel cared for and show they know how to care, if they contribute to and can actively participate in a community; then we have had impact." Headteacher.

If you would like to apply for this post as an Intervention Teacher, please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
