Teaching Personnel are working alongside Local Authorities, Virtual Schools and SEN Schools to provide intervention tutors to Secondary students.
With the recent COVID pandemic and breaks in education, increasing gaps are emerging in the curriculum of students. Additionally, majority of the students we work with have additional challenges (e.g. behavioural challenges, SEN and LAC), their need for support is vital. We aim to provide passionate and resilient tutors to provide support academically, but also emotionally to these students. This is a truly rewarding role, allowing our tutors to make a difference in the lives of students. If this sounds like the ideal role for you, please read on:
About The Role
- 1-1 or small group tutoring
- Face to face - at the home of the student, local venue or school
- Maths, English and Science support to Secondary students
- Provide both academic and emotional support
- Plan, produce and deliver tailored sessions
- Start ASAP/September
Requirements
- Experience tutoring 1-1 or in small groups
- Experience supporting students with behavioural challenges/SEN/SEMH/LAC
- Motivating, passionate and resilient
- Graduate, NQT and FQT
- A valid DBS on the update service (able to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
