A Intervention Specialist is needed in a large secondary school within the area of Bromley to support teaching and learning. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience in teaching while working as a Intervention Specialist. This role is perfect for a graduate who wants to gain long term experience in a school, so let this be the platform for you to learn the role of a teacher without having to take on too much responsibility!

As a graduate assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher working with the whole class or smaller groups to ensure that all students reach their full potential. Depending on experience and expertise you may be required to cover lessons under the direction of the class teacher.

Requirements:

  • Particular subject strength (maths, science, geography etc).
  • The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Must be able to obtain a DBS check.
  • Proof of career history from the last 6 years.
  • Able to provide 3 career related references.
  • Experience of teaching KS3-KS5.
  • Able to commute to Bromley within 45 minutes.
