Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an Inclusion Teaching Assistant to work within the one of our client secondary schools ahead of the new academic year (September 2019).
Within this role you will be required to support the learning and engagement of pupils that are at risk of permanent exclusion from school.
The school wish to appoint an Inclusion Teaching Assistant who holds previous experience supporting the behaviour and learning of pupils/youths. Previous experience working directly within secondary education is advantageous, but not essential.
- Full time Inclusion Teaching Assistant - September 2019 start
- Temporary post for the full 2019/20 academic year
- Delivering resources and supporting the learning of individuals within the school inclusion unit
- Earn up to £1300 per month
Our client school located on the boarder of Trafford and Manchester is a Roman Catholic Secondary School wish to expand their support team ahead of the new academic year (September 2019). This is the ideal opportunity for anyone with previous experience supporting secondary pupils within an education setting, to have a positive impact on the learning of 'harder to reach' pupils.
Inclusion Teaching Assistant applicant requirements;
- Previous experience working within secondary schools/youth and community support work
- Be able to build positive working relationships with pupils and be able to raise aspirations of those who often struggle to engage within school
- Hold the ability to diffuse disruptive behaviour and be a role model to individual pupils
- Have previous experience working within an education setting or environment
The School is located in the Chorlton area with a number of tram stations near by and is just off the two of the main roads in south central Manchester for those who drive. This Mixed secondary school has a high number of students with Pupil premium where they are funded for extra support. The school also has a high number of EAL and SEN students whilst maintaining progressive grades throughout key stage 3 and 4.
