ICT Primary Teacher

A KS2 Teaching Position has just become available in a fantastic school in Chatteris. The school is 2 form entry and has a well established SLT with strong ambitions and a real vision for the future of the school and its pupils.

The school have requested an ICT specialist Teacher to apply for this exciting position as the SLT feel as though ICT should be further implemented into classroom activities within the school, and is therefore looking for a teacher that will include fun activities in their classes that will make use of the schools excellent ICT facilities to educate the pupils.

Ideal applicants will also be required to:

• Support children with challenging behaviour
• Have their own transport
• Have a professional level of classroom management skills
• Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
• Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
• Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating

You will also be supported by a Teaching Assistant who will provide overall class support, as well as work on a 1 to 1 basis with SEN pupils. The year groups you will be teaching is a mixed year 5 and 6 class and because there are varying levels of ability in the class, your teaching support and ability to adapt will be of great value to both the school and the pupils.

Successful applicants will be expected to interview as soon as possible; therefore we need someone who will be committed to making a real difference to the educational progression of all the pupils in the class.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
