Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher? Do you possess the skills and knowledge to engage and inspire young minds?
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a reputable secondary school in Waterlooville. We are seeking a Humanities Teacher who can commence their employment in September 2023.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Humanities Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape young minds and make a lasting impact on their educational journey. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback to promote their academic growth.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum, sharing best practices, and contributing to the overall development of the department.
- Providing guidance and support to students, fostering their personal and intellectual development.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies) or equivalent.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for Humanities subjects, with a strong understanding of the curriculum requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Proven ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
