The governors of this outstanding Catholic Primary School based in LS22 are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Learning

Support Assistant to join our dedicated, friendly and welcoming team of staff, governors, children and parents.

We would like to appoint a teaching assistant who:

  • Is committed to safeguarding the children in our care and adheres to safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Is sympathetic to the catholic ethos of the school
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Has recent experience and knowledge of working with individuals, groups or children
  • Has a sense of humour
  • Has an ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Has the ability to work as part of a team
  • Has a willingness to be part of the community

Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
