Job Title: High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Northampton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full Time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Term-Time Only)
Contract Length: Until the end of Autumn term - potential to be extended until end of the academic year for the right person
Day Rate: £100-£120 per day (based on experience and qualifications)

We are working with a Northampton school who are looking for a HLTA (higher level teaching assistant) who will be able to cover across both KS1 and KS2 for PPA, sickness and course cover.
The school is a 2 form entry school with great facilties and good behaviour management and polciies. The staff are welcoming and the school has a homely feel.
You will be able to participate in the school CPD training if you wish however this is optional.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting day-to-day classroom learning
- Running focused group work and interventions
- Supporting classroom routines and contributing to a positive learning environment
- Maintaining high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour using the school policies
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified HLTA status
- Ability to step confidently into teacher-led roles when required
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to work well as part of a team
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
- Experience across both KS1 and KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
