Location: Northampton
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent / Fixed Term
Salary: Dependent on experience


We’re Hiring: Year 1 Class Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum? We are seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team in Northampton, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who is committed to inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS required)

  • Recent experience teaching in KS1, preferably Year 1

  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds)

  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • A team player with a growth mindset and a passion for child development


In This Role, You Will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons that engage and challenge pupils

  • Use formative assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform next steps

  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development as well as academic growth

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school
