History Vacancy opening in Bristol

Easter Start- Until the end of the academic year

Teaching Personnel have been working closely with a secondary school in the Bristol area to recruit a History Teacher for a long term position to start at Easter. This role is exclusive to Teaching Personnel, with the school asking us to find a suitable candidate to help the department progress.

About the school

  • Location- South Bristol
  • Sector- Secondary (History)
  • Class type- KS3 and KS4
  • £750- £800 per week
  • Full time- Until the end of the academic year

Specfic needs from the candidate

  • You should have a Degree in History and QTS
  • The school are happy to consider outstanding NQTs but suggest that the role might be better suited to History teachers with experience across the curriculum
  • Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice

The successful applicant will need to have strong behaviour management and will be expected to take on the full teacher responsibilities of planning, delivery and assessment.
