Teaching personnel has increased its partnership of schools in the Blandford area with increasing demand for teachers of History on a day to day, short and long term basis. The role will include covering History lessons up to KS4 (the ability to teach up to KS5 would be advantageous) as well as intervention work on a one to one, one to two and small group basis. The role is suitable for NQT’s as well as more experienced teachers.
The ideal candidates will:
• Be motivated to increase attainment of all pupils
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• Be able to demonstrate key achievements in previous roles (or teaching practice)
• Show a history of achieving good results or at least rated “good” by Ofsted
• Be whiling to work in a bank of our partnership schools
• Be driven to continually improve ones professional practice
• Have excellent subject knowledge
