Our partner school, located within the Rochdale LEA seek to appoint a charismatic History teacher to fill a gap within their department. This is a temporary position to start ASAP (Prior to the half term break ideally) initially through till the Christmas break, however with uncertainty behind the return date of the absent teacher this staffing need is likely to be extended for the following term also.

The head of department seeks to appoint a History teacher who is committed to raising the standards and attainment of pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. If this appeals to you, this job opportunity may be perfect.

Located in Rochdale, this is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive close to the town centre, serving a mixed catchment area the pupils enrolment ranges from white British and Indian heritage. This is an average sized secondary school with 850 pupils on roll. The school boasts excellent facilities with a new building which was finished in 2010.
