Job description

Are you a qualified History teacher wishing to pursue a full-time teaching position from September 2019? Do you have experience delivering History to pupils across Key Stage Three and GCSE?

  • Full-time History teacher required, Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four
  • Open vacancy due to a departmental restructure and internal promotion
  • Initially offered on a temporary basis for one term with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following this (January 2020)
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
  • Central Salford location, accessible via the A580 (East Lancashire Road)

Our client secondary school have been praised for their continually improving results and the provisions that are in place to ensure that all pupils can excel in every subject. The incoming History teacher will be expected to plan, deliver and assess a range of lessons to students of all ability levels.

With refurbishments complete, the school now has access to state of the art classrooms and equipment, making for spacious learning environments. The successful History teacher will join a dedicated team of nine Humanities teachers and will have their own classroom.

Located in central Salford, our partner secondary school can easily be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road). For non drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Leigh, Bolton and Trafford.
