I have a strong school currently looking to fill a position for a History teacher to start a full-time position in September. The school has been highly rated by Ofsted and understand the need for a work and life balance. They promote an ethos of hard work and dedication, but ensure this is balanced with a relaxed and enjoyable life structure. It is a friendly working environment based on support and mutual respect.
They are looking to hire a hard-working, dedicated, yet personable Maths teacher who will add value to their ambitious school.
History Teacher Required
Details about the role are below:
- UK recognised qualifications History role (e.g. BSc, BA, QTS, PGCE)
- Expectation of experience working at Secondary school, KS3-5 level
- The school is rated "outstanding" by Ofsted and has ambitious and driven leadership
- Pay ranges from £150-200 a-day depending on experience and qualifications
- Full-time role: 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- It would be a temporary contract (2 terms - 1 year)
- Less than a 15 minute walk from Northwick Park underground

The Role
This role is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious history teacher who would welcome the opportunity for additional responsibility. The high standards set for the students is expected to originate from ever individual staff member. This stems from a hard working and driven attitude balanced with time to relax and enjoy life outside working hours. The leadership understand the need for a healthy and relaxed teacher in their school. The successful candidate is expected to work hard during school hours, ensuring all work is completed and to the best the of the candidates ability.
This role has a September start date with interviews starting next week and continuing the following week. Although the roles do not start till September, this school would like to fill the vacancies ASAP. If you are interested in this role please apply to this ad. The incoming teacher would be expected to work 8:30am till 3:30pm, 5 days a week as a full-time role. The school are searching for candidates who can engage the students with exciting lessons and an aim to get students interested in learning. Planning and conducting lessons would be expected, along with marking students work and providing feedback for them to build on. Experience working with SEN, languages or extra-curricular activities would be beneficial.

The school is located near Harrow and look to maintain their high stature by expecting high achievement and standards. There is always assistance and help for anyone who may need it. This is not limited to the students. The "outstanding" Ofsted rating is something the school have always been looking improve.
