Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Our client school wish to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant from April 2019 through until the end of the academic year.
- Full time role, commencing September 2019
- Rate of pay up to £1300+ per month
- Introduction to an Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school in Manchester
Our client school in Manchester are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the school from September. They will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility of agreed learning activities including planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes.
Experience of working with students with Autism is desirable but is not essential.
We are looking for a highly motivated, exceptional individual to take on this exciting and challenging post. Successful candidates will hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or substantial Teaching Assistant experience, with an interest in working with students from a wide range of backgrounds. Having experience of working with students with Special Educational Needs would be advantageous but is not essential. A caring, flexible and common sense approach is important for this role.
Our client school is located in south area of central Manchester and is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre. The school is a smaller than average mixed secondary school for students aged 11-16. The school has a brand new building with excellent facilities throughout.
