If so, there is a fantastic opportunity to continue your professional development as the Head of Humanities, within a welcoming secondary school in the new academic year.
- Full-time, permanent Head of Humanities, required from September 2021.
- Must be a highly qualified, motivated, and ambitious leader.
- Demonstrate high personal and academic standards.
- Situated in the idyllic region of Weymouth, Dorset.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604) +TLR or Leadership scale.
The Humanities department within this welcoming school has recently seen a full refurbishment within the classrooms and learning spaces, providing access to state-of-the-art resources within modern facilities. As the incoming candidate, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and development of the faculty, driving an outstanding quality of teaching and learning. You will also be leading and managing staff, effectively implementing resources as well as being responsible for the management of performance.
The school currently serves just over 600 pupils aged 11-16 and boasts access to a range of public transport options and motorway links via the A354 and beyond.
