Grammar School Teacher

Job description

On behalf of an all boys grammar school in Plymouth, Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and engaging Teachers to work on a temporary and flexible basis throughout this academic year.

This teaching role is flexible and is to start imminently. There is no planning with these positions but you will be expected to follow prepared lesson plans. There may be opportunities if you wish to take them through out the year such as block bookings where you may be asked and paid more to take on extra responsibilities

The role of a Teacher at this school will include:

  • Covering lessons through out key stage 3 and key stage 4 with students of all abilities
  • Work alongside the Head of departments at the school to deliver successful lessons
  • Have the opportunity to support in other subjects
  • Specialist subjects we are looking to recruit (but not essential) are PE Teachers, DT Teachers and MFL Teachers.

Earn between GBP90-GBP110 per day, dependant on the role. Teaching Personnel offer WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
