Are you a graduate interested in pursuing a career as a teacher? Would you like to gain further experience working within primary schools prior to beginning a teacher training course?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of our client school in Lewisham to recruit a number of graduate teaching assistants ahead of the new academic year.

  • Full and part time graduate teaching assistant positions available
  • Working within a Roman Catholic Primary school which is a top teacher training school
  • Supporting the learning of pupils across a range of subject areas including; Maths, English and Science
  • Up to £350 per week whilst gaining invaluable experience

The Headteacher of this school wishes to appoint a number of graduates who are keen to promote learning and can encourage his pupils to reach their full potential. Applicants are required to be educated to degree level (All subjects welcome to apply) and will ideally have transferable or direct school based experience supporting pupils aged 5-10.

The successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including; working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have been identified to require additional support within their studies, working closely with pupils making their transition from Nursery to Primary school as well as providing additional tuition support to KS2 pupils preparing for examinations.

This Roman Catholic primary school falls under the Southwark Diocese and holds an excellent reputation. Located in Lewisham, the school is on the outskirts of Catford town centre making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas.
