Are you an aspiring graduate looking for routes into teaching and kick starting your career in education? This could be the role for you!
A high calibre school in Sheffield are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their vivacious and hard-working staff. You will work with SEN students identified with ASC (autistic spectrum condition) on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of ASC and phonic schemes will be advantageous.
All candidates applying to posts through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure via the Criminal Records Bureau.
