Are you a graduate, specialising in the fields of music, art or drama? Are you currently studying for your degree and looking to work alongside on a day to day basis? Do you have thoughts about completing a Teaching degree and looking to further your career before making that decision? Join Teaching Personnel!
We are looking for enthusiastic graduates/students to join Teaching Personnel and work in the schools we work with on a day to day basis. We are receiving a high amount of calls requesting Teaching Assistants and we would love to hear from you!
As a teaching assistant, you will be working closely with small groups of students and 1:1 with pupils who require additional help within a classroom. Whilst working for Teaching Personnel, you will have the option to work within primary, secondary and special educational needs and flexible work can be offered to fit around studying if needed. You will have access to an online diary that allows you to change the days you wish to work. You will be supporting the national curriculum and so a good understanding of maths and English to GCSE level is desirable. As we work with a large amount of schools in Cornwall, work close to home can be offered.
Experience for this role is advantageous but not compulsory and we can offer a range of documents and training courses to help maximise your knowledge within education. We offer Safeguarding and Prevent training, online for free as well as additional training through CPD Academy at a discounted price. Teaching Personnel offer day to day roles as well as long term positions and chances to join our Future Teachers programme is always an option, for those wanting to go into teaching. You will be paid on a weekly, Friday basis and we can offer a competitive pay rate alongside additional referral bonus’ for successful candidates that you encourage to register with us.
