This role requires a fresh, motivated and inspiring individual who has an incredible interest in Maths, and wish to help give their students the numerical skills they need to pursue their GCSE's, further education or a career in this core subject.

This opportunity could generate a career where you can bring your positivity and inspiration to students who would be of mixed abilities, helping them strive for expectations and achieve beyond what they thought was possible.

This excellent venture is open for Qualified Teachers, Newly Qualified Teachers or Graduates to further their experience or make the first step in the outstanding and rewarding career path of teaching. I am looking to meet with individuals who are eager to gain experience, wish to help others enjoy the subject being taught, and think they've got what it takes to reap the rewards of teaching to KS3 and KS4.

Mathematics is an innovative and interactive subject which students respond well to given the best resources and interactive learning. The Teacher has the ability to scope students understanding to develop students numerical skills beyond basics to potentially enjoyable interest.

The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic and representative staff body and have the drive to achieve and further the success of the Maths department. As a core subject, you will have to monitor the development of student's success and be motivated to help students achieve beyond expectations. This valued consistency must be reflected in engaging and effective lessons with innovative resources of your own or with equipment available at the school. In return, the appointed Teacher will feel valued, mentored, challenged and provided with own opportunities to develop own skills further, such as with CPD training.

The successful candidate must…
- Have a 'can-do', positive attitude
- Value the success of the students, upcoming to the GCSE period
- Have the drive to make a difference
- Be invested in students achievement
- Confident with classroom control
- Be calm, caring and conscientious
- Have excellent interpersonal skills

To be considered for this role, you will be required to:
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.

In order to register with Teaching Personnel, candidates are required to have Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service. All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course through Teaching Personnel, or provide a relevant safeguarding certificate during your registration process. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory vetting checks and references.
