We’re recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a range of South Manchester secondary schools from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people in their learning, develop your classroom confidence, and gain insight into the day-to-day life of a school — all while being paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to students and teachers across a range of subjects

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who need additional support

• Assist with behaviour management and classroom organisation

• Help to prepare learning materials and support lesson delivery

• Foster positive relationships and act as a role model for pupils

Ideal For:

• Graduates interested in a career in teaching or educational psychology

• Individuals looking to gain experience before applying for a PGCE or teacher training

Requirements:

• A recent degree (any subject considered, education or related fields preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine interest in education and child development

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
