Roaming Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Bramhall)
Start Date: September | Daily Rate: £89 – £100 | Full-Time | Flexible Support Role

Are you a versatile and proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced school environment? A well-regarded secondary school in Bramhall is seeking a Roaming Teaching Assistant to provide flexible support across departments and year groups from September.

This dynamic role is ideal for someone confident working in different classrooms each day, supporting a range of students, subjects, and learning needs. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience and make a visible impact across the whole school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support across multiple subjects and key stages

  • Step into different classes each day, supporting both students and teaching staff

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions as required

  • Assist with behaviour management and student engagement

  • Adapt quickly to different learning environments and pupil needs

  • Foster positive relationships with staff and students across the school

Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience working in a secondary school or educational setting

  • Confident, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to new situations

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, supportive approach

  • Team player who thrives in a varied and collaborative environment

  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
