Are you a recent graduate or just about to graduate from University with an Undergraduate or Masters Degree? Have you consider a career within education but don't quite know where to start? Look now further….

Teaching Personnel works in partnership with an Autism Specialist Provision looking for graduates to join the team due to growth in pupil number in the new academic year. Each pupil will be on Autism Spectrum with a variety of associated needs. Some pupils will have difficulties with speech and language, emotional development, academic progression, sensory needs and social skills.

The provision are looking for graduates who have a genuine passion to kick start a career working in education especially with those who can't access the mainstream national curriculum. No experience working with Autism and Special Educational Needs is required although any voluntary or paid placements would be an added bonus. The school will offer full training on how to deliver intervention programmes 121 with key children and you will report the progress to supervisors and professionals. The school also enrol all new staff on behaviour management training.

Thee role requires graduates to work closely with 2-4 key children delivering 121 sessions and tracking progress to aid social and academic development.

The provision is due to have new pupils starting in September of both primary and secondary age. There will be opportunities to work with either age group.

They will be running interviews regularly between now and the end of the academic year as well as in September. At Teaching Personnel Business Development Manager Nicole Totterdell will be on hand to advice on your application and fully prepare you for interview.
