Job description
Experienced Teaching Assistant – Full Time (EYFS)
Location: Bolton – BL6 area
£13.75 per hour
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the Bolton (BL6) area, working 1:1 within EYFS supporting a pupil with personal care needs.
This is a full-time position and would suit a confident, nurturing and resilient professional who has previously worked within a school setting and has strong EYFS experience. A solid understanding of early development, safeguarding and structured support is essential.
The Role:

Providing dedicated 1:1 support within EYFS

Supporting a child with personal care needs
-
Promoting early learning, development and independence
-
Implementing consistent routines and behaviour strategies
-
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Essential Requirements:
-
Previous experience working in a school (essential)
-
EYFS experience (mandatory)
-
Relevant EYFS qualification (required)

Experience supporting children with additional needs
-
Confident supporting personal care
-
Calm, patient and nurturing approach
This role requires someone proactive, caring and professional, with a strong understanding of early years provision and the ability to provide consistent, high-quality 1:1 support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
