EARLY YEARS SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time – School Hours – Manchester
Are you an experienced Early Years practitioner looking to move into a rewarding SEN school environment?
We are working in partnership with a nurturing and well-resourced nursery setting in Manchester that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in nurseries, Reception, or EYFS settings who is passionate about helping children at the very start of their educational journey.
The role:

Supporting children with SEN within an Early Years environment
-
Working closely with the class teacher and therapy teams
-
Encouraging communication, engagement and social development
-
Providing personal care where required
-
Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning space
We are looking for:
-
Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification OR strong nursery experience
-
Experience supporting children with additional needs (speech & language, ASD, global delay, SEMH)
-
A calm, patient and caring approach
-
Someone available full time, long term

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
