Job Description:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assisting teachers in creating and implementing personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s specific needs
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
- Using various strategies and interventions to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Assisting with classroom management and organization to ensure a smooth and productive learning experience for all students
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN support
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, particularly with a focus on SEN (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organiz

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
