Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA) - Primary

Job description

A Primary School in Redruth are looking to appoint a suitably qualified or experienced graduate teaching assistant to work with pupils, to support students' or to provide more focused individual support (often 1:1) for students with SEN/SEMH. The successful candidate will be joining a highly professional, caring and dedicated team.

Whilst experience of working with young people in an education setting would be an advantage, we will welcome applications from highly-qualified and strongly motivated candidates who are looking for an opening into a career in education. This role may suit graduates wishing to gain experience in school before embarking on teacher training. Applicants must have a desire and passion to work with children, especially the most vulnerable.

Whatever your experience, we will provide training and support to enable you to play a vital role in helping pupils achieve success, whilst developing your own career prospects.

Job Type: Permanent - Term time - 30 hours per week

Required education: GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or higher / Bachelor's Degree

Start Date: As soon as possible
