Graduate Teaching Assistant Roles - Derby Primary Schools - Part time / Full time

Teaching Personnel are currently work with a number of Mainstream Primary Schools who are actively seeking graduate Teaching Assistants to fill short-term, long-term and day-to-day supply positions.

The School are keen for Graduates to gain experience in their School! If you believe you have what it takes to have a significant positive impact upon children's' education and overall well being in this position, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial discussion.

Working on a supply basis gives you excellent flexibility with regard to your weekly working hours, as well as providing you with invaluable experience, whether you are eventually looking at going into teaching, or working permanently in a TA role.

To succeed in this position, you will need to be:

  • Committed to supporting children's' learning able to communicate effectively with both children and co-workers
  • Have high expectations of all pupils
  • Have strong numerical and literacy skills with a minimum of Grade C at GCSE level
  • Able to adapt according to the needs of individual children Previous experience of working in a school or other educational environment is beneficial, but not essential.
