Graduate teaching assistant - Richmond (£60 - £80 a day)

Graduate teacher and teaching assistants required near Richmond

There are several positions currently open for graduate teachers and teaching assistants for varying specialisms. The school is currently looking for staff with Bachelor degrees from Russel Group Universities, with interviews commencing over the next two weeks.

Candidates who apply to this post must be willing to work full time, 5 days a week from 8:30am till 3:30pm, and willing to commit and be relied upon.

Requirements

• The incoming graduate would need UK recognised qualifications (e.g. BSc, BA, MA) from Russel Group Universities
• The successful candidate does not need experience in secondary schools, but does need to have shown an interest in teaching
• Required to Plan, Prepare, Mark and Assess students work and run catch up lessons for those who may struggle
• Must be willing to work on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and with special educational needs students within a mainstream school
• The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term role and have ambitions to further their career and development.

The Role

• This role has a start date before October half term, with interviews commencing next week
• It would be a full-time role; 5 days-a-week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Pay range from £60-£75 a day depending on the teaching experience and qualifications
• Would be expected to participate and go the extra mile. Any extra-curricular or SEN experience would benefit the candidates application

• The school is located near Richmond and is less than a 12 minute walk from Richmond station

• This school was rated "outstanding" by Ofsted as they noted "The school's care and support for pupils is outstanding. Staff understand pupils' needs extremely well and work closely with other agencies to provide extra help, should this be needed."

• The school are constantly looking to improve their current standing and rating. Their new head teacher and leadership are using innovative ways to improve the level education.
• Senior leadership expect a high level of commitment for staff and students a like, and this belief in students allows them to excel through their Sixth form and onto to an adult life
