Graduate Teaching Assistants required in York!

Summary;
Key Stage 1 - 5 Teaching Assistant Support
£9.50 per hour
Central and South York Schools

At Teaching Personnel, we work with a number of SEN and Behaviour Client Schools who are actively seeking proactive Teaching Assistants to fill short-term, long-term and day-to-day supply positions. In this highly rewarding role, you will be working alongside Teachers and other Teaching Assistants to provide children with the necessary support to ensure their progress.

To succeed in this position, you will need to be;

  • Committed to supporting children's learning
  • Able to communicate effectively with both children and co-workers
  • Have high expectations of all pupils
  • Have strong numerical and literacy skills with a minimum of Grade C at GCSE level
  • Able to adapt according to the needs of individual children

Previous experience of working in a school or other educational environment is beneficial, but not essential. The School are keen for Graduates to gain experience in their School!

Working on a supply basis gives you excellent flexibility with regard to your weekly working hours, as well as providing you with invaluable experience, whether you are eventually looking at going into teaching, or working permanently in a TA role.

We can also offer you hourly rates of £9.50, with a weekly pay day.

We are seeking Graduates with availability from September or October 2019! This is a great opportunity to gain more experience before starting a career in education, through our Future Teachers programme.
