Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a graduate Teaching Assistant looking to gain some valuable hands on experience in a thriving primary school in central Cambridge? Are you looking to see what educational life is like within the KS1/KS2 age range? This role can act as a valuable stepping stone in kick-starting your teaching career in a primary environment.
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a motivated and hard working graduate to fill a Teaching Assistant position at a single form entry primary school in Cambridge from October, this fantastic school is passionate about delivering the best possible education to all pupils, you would be joining a great team of staff and pupils who are excited to learn!
The role would include but may not be limited to:
- Supporting & monitoring the growth and development of the pupils
- Supporting the Teacher running the classroom throughout the day
- Organising the daily resources for the class
- Ensuring the pupils are sticking to the visions and values of the school
- General TA duties
The ideal candidate
- Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant subject (Sport/Psychology/English/Maths)
- Experience working with children
- Aspiring Teacher with a desire to thrive in the KS1/KS2 environment
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
