Learning Support Assistant Required for North Liverpool Primary School

Are you looking for a position where you are given the opportunity to manage children's academic progress?

Do you have experience working with children with ADHD and autism?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a mainstream primary school in North Liverpool, Walton (L34). This Liverpool school is seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants  to help support primary aged pupils with diagnosed ADHD and autism. The school believe Learning Support Assistants have the engaging personality to help support these pupils to build their confidence and academic knowledge. In this role you will be expected to work 1-1 with pupils with ADHD and autism and provide personalised support for them during lesson and break times.

The ideal LSA will have a background working with children with similar needs and therefore have the knowledge and ability to manage their needs. 

The pay rate for this role is GBP10 - GBP11 per hour

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of mainstream primary schools in North Liverpool who seek to hire graduate teaching assistants for their support team on a full time basis. The post of Graduate teaching assistant will involve working with children who are under achieving and lacking confidence and additionally have SEN and challenging behaviours. If you are available 3 days or more per week between 8.30-3.30pm, please do get in touch.

Applications are welcome from Graduates of all backgrounds, previous experience as working with children or vulnerable adults is required, if you are in the process of applying for teacher training or have a place secured for 2021 this opportunity to work as a graduate teaching assistant would be ideal preparation for you.
