Graduate Teaching Assistant
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
My work force partner is an exciting and inspirational school to be working at right now! We believe that there are many factors that contribute to this unique environment – from there distinct Christian ethos, to an innovative curriculum and approach to rewarding students. Based in HX3, this Halifax school is only a short drive from Bradford also.
The school is rated Ofsted “outstanding and so is the teaching alliance of the school. To add to this success, the school was also recently awarded The World Class Schools quality mark.
Progress 8 measures the performance of the students compared to the national progress of students with the same starting points across 8 subjects, as prescribed by the government. In 2019 students made – on average – around three fifths of a grade more progress in each of these 8 subjects than their national counterparts with the same starting point. This places the school in the top DfE category for progress (‘well above average’) and well inside the top 10% of schools nationally.
This is quite simply a very good school, that is offering graduates the chance to train and mentor future teachers to the highest of standards. Competition for places will be high, but there are a number of places available.
