Are you a graduate considering applying for a teacher training programme in the future? Do you have previous experience supporting students aged 11-16 in an educational capacity?
Our client Secondary school in Rochdale are currently seeking to appoint a number of graduates and aspiring teachers to work with students across KS3 and KS4 to support learning across the school. The school seek to appoint English, Mathematics, Science and Psychology graduates with previous school based experience to provide additional support across the school.
The position:
- Full time position, September start
- Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 in core subjects
- Working with identified pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher with pre-set work
- Invaluable experience to enhance future teacher training applications
The school have high expectations and wish to appoint graduates to ensure the grades remain above the national average. The Head of Intervention at school wishes for the successful graduate teaching assistants to deliver small group sessions to identified pupils, along with supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, monitoring their progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
