English and Maths Tutor
Job description
TP Tutors are working alongside Northumberland Local Authority to recruite a tutor who can provide support to students with maths and English. We currently need a tutor to deliver maths and English tuition to 2 KS3 students, who currently do not have a school placement, for 9 hours per week.
About The Role:
- Immediate start!
- 1:1 tuition – at a venue in Cramlington
- 2 x 1.5 hour sessions 3 days per week
- Plan and deliver your own engaging, tailored sessions
- Maths and English tuition and quite often SEMH support
- Provide detailed feedback via our online learning platform
Who Are We Looking For:
- Tutors experienced working with students who require emotional support
- Tutors confident communicating with local authorities and parents
- Ability to plan, produce and deliver engagaing sessions in low level English and Maths
Requirements:
- Teaching with QTS or substantial tutoring experience of the National Curriculum
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Valid Child Workforce only DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
