Full time Graduate Teaching Assistant required from October 2018 for a Farnworth based Academy for a permanent position.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary school in order to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic support staff team from October half term.

The incoming Graduate Teaching Assistant can expect to join a well respected Secondary Academy with just over 500 pupils on role aged 11-16. This role will create a strong foundation for any aspiring teacher to develop their understanding of the Education Sector.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant role will include:

• Working with young pupils 1:1, intervention based and general classroom support.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons with full support in subject specialist area.
• Support the teaching and learning of young people alongside the class teacher.
• Developing strong behaviour management skills, in accordance to school behaviour policies.
• Supporting pupils during the transition period for incoming year seven students and year 11 pupils in preparation for the GCSE Exams.

Farnworth is perfectly situated to be accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Salford and Chorley. Public transport links are also easily accessible, with the Bus and Train station a few miles away from the Academy.
