Are you a university graduate looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career?
Teaching Personnel is currently working with an Ofsted-Outstanding Teacher Training provider that is seeking motivated individuals who want to become Secondary school teachers. As a trainee, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, and the role location is flexible to suit your needs.
The secondary teacher training program is comprehensive, covering pedagogy, assessment, curriculum, behaviour, and professional behaviour, with a strong emphasis on application and practice. This approach builds confidence in the classroom by providing hands-on teaching strategies that you can immediately apply.
In addition to the weekly training sessions, you will have dedicated Friday sessions led by training leads, teachers, and keynote speakers. There will also be subject-specific training sessions that will further enhance your skills and experience. The program is bespoke and personalized to meet the needs and subject area of each trainee. After each training session, trainees will have a weekly mentor meeting where they can reflect and co-plan for the following week before trying things out in the classroom.
Upon completing the one-year teacher training course, you will be a fully qualified teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of your students. You will also be supported in finding an Early Career Teacher role to help you begin your career.
