Are you a recent Graduate interested in training to teach in a secondary school in the future?

If so, Teaching Personnel have a number of opportunities available whereby you are able to gain invaluable experience within "Outstanding" secondary schools in the Chorley and Leyland area.

We have full-time and part-time support roles available with immediate start dates across Chorley and Leyland.

  • Graduates of the following specialisms are urged to apply: English, Mathematics, Science, Music, MFL, and Social Sciences.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils who struggle to engage within lessons and require additional support within their studies
  • Provide KS3 and GCSE tuition sessions across a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and Humanities depending on experience
  • Lead small classes and deliver pre set revision resources
  • Track and monitor the progress made by pupils within sessions and feedback to senior management
  • There will be opportunities to cover lessons with support from senior leaders within the school.
