Graduate Teaching Assistant role in Andover

Recruiting for Teaching Assistants with relevant degrees for teaching assistant roles prior to training to teach via a SKITT provided by the school. The school is looking for dedicated and passionate graduates to work as classroom and small group specialist teaching assistants, learning valuable skills and building their experience to allow them to train to teach a secondary subject relevant to the degree they have.

Currently accepting applications from graduates with degrees relevant to the following subjects, with a view to train to teach in September 2019 as part of the future teachers programme in Hampshire governed schools.

• Core Subjects: Science, Maths, English
• Humanities Subjects: History, Religious studies, Geography
• IT and Economics Subjects: IT, Computer Science, Business Studies, Economics
• Sport and Performing Arts: PE Music, Drama, Dance
• Art and Design: Art, Design technology, Food Technology, Graphics, Textiles, Photography
• Modern Foreign Languages: French, Spanish, German

If you are a graduate of any degree pertaining to these subjects and have an interest in gaining experience in school environments with a view to teach in the future, and would like to gain paid experience of up to £70 a day.

The school is currently looking to increase the number of support staff in the school to aid with pupils with particular SEN as well as classes with gifted and talented students who can be pushed forward and encouraged with independent learning.
