Graduate of Maths - Train to teach opportunity

An academy trust based in Portsmouth are looking to recruit a graduate of Maths who is seeking to train as a Teacher. The role would be a full teaching role to begin in January with the responsibilities of a fully qualified teacher. Currently the trust have the funding available to help gain QTLS providing you have relevant experience as an overseas trained teacher, FE Teacher or graduate of Maths with extensive practise and knowledge of the UK Curriculum.

Applicants must have excellent subject knowledge within Maths, or perhaps a subsidiary subject such as Economics, Business or engineering. You must be willing to undertake training alongside your designated teaching hours to ensure you are able to achieve QTLS with the support of a subject mentor and your head of department. You must possess a positive can do attitude and willingness to promote life long learning within the school.

If successful in the role you will support all students ranging from year 7 to year 11 of all abilities within their set classes. Your responsibilities will match those of a fully qualified teacher delivering lessons with prior planning and feedback when required.
