The school, based in Southampton are looking to recruit a Graduate Cover Supervisor from February 2020 or sooner if possible. Being a Cover Supervisor at this school, you will provide supervision of students, will need to respond to questions, generally assist students to undertake set activities and to uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. In addition to cover needs, you will also be required to work alongside existing staff in specific curriculum areas providing general support for departments. This is a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school and you must be IT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages.

The ideal candidate will:

Be educated to degree level with a genuine desire to train to teach in the future

be able to motivate and inspire pupils;

have experience of working with children and managing behaviour;

have good attention to detail;

be keen to learn and develop their skills;

be committed to the schools values and ethos
