Graduate Cover Supervisor - Salford - Required immediately & from September

Are you a graduate looking to develop your experience teaching ahead of a possible PGCE or teacher training course? Do you want experience teaching your subject across the secondary Key stages 3-4, developing your confidence working with young people? If so this Graduate Cover Supervisor role may be ideal for you.

Our client secondary schools across Salford are looking to appoint Cover Supervisors to work as part of their in-house cover team, to deliver pre planned lessons in the absence of subject teachers, across the board.

  • Full time Cover Supervisor roles, starting immediately & in September, initially on a temporary supply basis with the potential to progress through to a fixed term post.
  • Must have prior experience working with young people in an educational setting, any further teaching experience will be highly beneficial.
  • Opportunity to progress through relevant CPD training programmes within our partner schools based across Greater Manchester.
  • Earn up to £1000- £1200 per month. Dependant upon experience*

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be working alongside the in-house cover team; covering lessons in the absence of class teachers, therefore the flexibility to work in a range of subject areas is essential.

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons with full guidance and support together with the opportunity to create your own lessons, where applicable.
  • Manage behaviour amongst pupils referring back to school behaviour policies.
  • Flexibly cover a range of subjects across Key Stages 3-4, at various levels of learning.

Our client secondary schools are based across Salford, and can include faith/non-faith schools, in addition to both developing secondary schools and those schools pioneering innovative teaching and learning.
