We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Girls’ PE to work within a high performing Academy; this position is open to both NQTs and more experienced teachers.
The physical education team is a creative and dynamic department with inspiring Teachers. High expectations are set within the department for both students and teachers alike. They strive to ensure that they deliver an imaginative, up to date and relevant curriculum. Consequently the department has an outstanding track record for academic success at all key stages.
The PE department enjoyed some outstanding results in 2019. Within the PE department it is the intention that all pupils regardless of their ability, should be given the opportunity to experience a wide range of physical activities thus contributing to the overall experience and package that the Academy has to offer.
Your opportunity:
You have the opportunity to advance your career within a supportive Academy environment. You will join the over-subscribed Academy full time in Easter 2020, on a temporary contract until July. You will then start back in September on the Academy’s contract.

We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in Preston, and helping create exceptional places of learning. We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic classroom teacher who will be able to complement our dedicated team of outstanding practitioners.
We are looking for a strong communicator with proven strengths in engaging with, inspiring and motivating, not just the school community, but the wider community. You should hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
