Humanities teacher –Geography – Oldham
Our Client school located in Oldham are currently seeking a Geography teacher to start in September; this is on a temporary basis originally with the opportunity to become permanent.

• Attractive pay rates in line with the MPS/UPS scale (£22,467-£38,250 per annum)
The school is located in Oldham, close to Royton and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Rochdale, Central Manchester and Bury. The cohort of students are from the surrounding areas, therefore the majority are from minority ethnic backgrounds and speak English as a second language. This new built secondary school boasts state of the art facilities providing an environment that students can succeed in and has recently been recognised for being in the top 10% of schools nationally for outstanding school pupil’s progress. The incoming Geography teacher will be joining a Geography department that has a record of producing excellent results across KS3 and KS4.
The incoming Geography teacher will have:
• A QTS in Geography-NQTs are encouraged to apply
• Be able to deliver high quality and engaging lessons to raise students attainment
• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 to different ability students
• Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
