General Teaching Assistant - KS2

A primary school in Allerton, South Liverpool L18 have an exciting opportunity for a key stage 2 teaching assistant to join their team on an ongoing basis from ideally after the October half term.

The position is working within a mixed year 3 class on a full time basis.

The class has 28 pupils of mixed abilities. Due to the catchment area the school has pupils with a high level of SEN and challenging behaviour. You will need to posses strong behaviour management and be able to come up with creative ways to engage pupils with their learning.

Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification however this isn't essential. The school is looking for a teaching assistant with a can do attitude and is passionate about providing outstanding education. Staff enjoy working at this primary school and are well supported throughout the school.

The role is full-time initially for a term and a half, but has the potential to go on longer for the right candidate.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
